Overview
We're looking for an energetic, customer-focused Retail Salesperson to join our TJM O'Connor team on a casual / fixed-term basis. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll help customers choose the right 4WD accessories for their vehicle, support the retail showroom, and ensure every customer receives exceptional service from start to finish. If you love 4WDs, enjoy helping people, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, this role is the perfect blend of customer service, hands-on product knowledge, and teamwork. No two days are the same: you'll be quoting, processing sales, offering advice, maintaining displays, and supporting the workshop team with customer handovers. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking for a short-term role or flexible work hours within the 4WD industry, with the potential to gain valuable product knowledge and industry experience.
Responsibilities
* Help customers choose the right 4WD accessories for their vehicle, support the retail showroom, and ensure exceptional service from start to finish.
* Quote, process sales, offer product advice, maintain displays, and support the workshop team with customer handovers.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, automotive parts, or similar roles
* Strong communication skills with a genuine customer-first approach
* Ability to learn and confidently share product knowledge
* Organisational skills and the ability to work in a busy, dynamic environment
* A passion for the 4WD/off-road industry is highly regarded
* Comfortable using POS systems, quoting tools, and basic computer applications
* Good problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Current Australian Driver's Licence required
