6 Months Contract Assignment, with extension possibilities Based in Sydney with 2 days in office requirement Impactful work Hudson is partnering with a well-established organisation to bring on Senior Solution Designer contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for designing scalable solutions across DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, within a broader strategy and architecture function shaping a long-term automation roadmap. You will collaborate with application and data architects to translate strategy into delivery, with a strong focus on enhancing platform capability through improved CI/CD resiliency and automation. What you will do Design end-to-end solutions aligned with the automation strategy Translate architecture into practical designs across DevOps and CI/CD pipelines Enhance platform resilience through geo-redundancy and failover capabilities Support automation initiatives across core and IP environments What you bring Experience in solution design Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD, with experience in tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps Hands-on experience with databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis Programming capability in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Ansible Familiarity with tools such as GitLab, Ansible Automation Platform, MinIO, Apache Airflow, or Mapbox Exposure to observability platforms including ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana Experience working with technologies such as React, Node.js, FastAPI, Red Hat OpenShift, or GIS platforms Solid understanding of software security and compliance principles Exposure to technical delivery or AI agent development is beneficial Please reach out to me via victor.burt@hudson.com with your contact number and resume (in Microsoft word format) should you be interested.
