Overview

We are a preferred recruitment partner with a number of Australia's leading mining, engineering and construction companies. We currently have a position for an experienced EventCoordinator to lead and coordinate a variety of exciting events across Cape Lambert, Dampier. (Events are held onsite at Cape Lambert and Dampier). Working for a Tier 1 Miner you will play a vital role in planning and executing high-profile site events. Your expertise in liaising with local vendors and managing large groups of up to 450 attendees will ensure each event runs seamlessly.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate logistics for events across Cape Lambert and Dampier on site.
* Manage vendor relationships and engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
* Oversee event schedules and adapt plans to changing needs.
* Ensure memorable experiences for all participants through strong organizational skills and flexibility.
Qualifications
* Experience in event coordination or project management or similar
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Ability to liaise effectively with vendors and internal teams including managers and superintendents
* Can work and effectively prioritise in a fast moving environment
* Comfortable managing large groups and handling dynamic situations
* Ability to adapt plans swiftly to meet changing needs
* Valid Class 3 Manual Driver's License
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in coordinating large-scale events or community activities preferred but not essential
* A "can do" attitude
Other Requirements
* Willingness to work across multiple sites including Cape Lambert and Dampier (3 days at Cape Lambert, 2 days at Dampier)
* Ability to mobilize quickly and work within defined timeframes
Contract, Location and Start
This position is offered on a 12-month contract initially on $50 per hour based on experience. 10 hour days. Immediate start.
This is a residential role to the Wickham, Point Samson, Roeburn or Karratha areas.
