Join to apply for the Pharmacy Technician/ Pharmacy Assistant - Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital role at NSW Health.
The successful applicant will be involved in all aspects of the delivery of Pharmacy services. The primary purpose is to provide safe, efficient and effective distribution of pharmaceuticals to clinical areas of the hospital. Preparation of manufactured sterile and non-sterile products. Dispensing of prescriptions and associated administration and data duties.
This position includes participation in a weekend and public holiday roster and may include periods of work at David Berry Hospital or Milton Ulladulla Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective and effective distribution of pharmaceuticals to clinical areas of the hospital.
- Prepare manufactured sterile and non-sterile products.
- Dispense prescriptions and perform associated administration and data duties.
- Participate in weekend and public holiday rosters and may work at other sites as required.
Requirements
- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category B role.
- Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- Recognised qualification in the field or qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent (as per award) enabling appointment as a Pharmacy Assistant Grade 1 or 2 or a Pharmacy Technician Grade 1 or 2.
