About The Role:
As the head of HSEQ for Australia, you will lead the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality function across their Australian operations. This senior leadership role combines strategic direction with hands-on operational delivery, shaping and embedding an industry-leading safety culture while ensuring compliance with legislative, contractual, and group requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day HSEQ operations across Australian projects
* Develop, implement, and improve the Health and Safety Management System
* Ensure Australian policies align with global standards
* Provide strategic HSEQ advice to managers and project teams
* Drive health, wellbeing, and safety initiatives across Australia
* Define, monitor, and report on safety targets and KPIs
* Lead incident investigations, lessons learned, and corrective actions
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards
* Oversee risk management, audits, and HSEQ reporting to leadership and regulators

* Strong experience managing HSEQ in complex, project-based environments
