Position Overview
Youth Justice Mental Health Clinician – AWH Infant Child and Youth Mental Health Service, permanent part-time (0.7 FTE).
Core disciplines: Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Clinical Psychologists.
Responsibilities
Specialist mental health assessments, treatment and support for young people involved with the Youth Justice system.
Provide in-reach style engagement from Youth Justice Offices and ICYMHS sites.
Co-location and collaboration to deliver an additional access point for vulnerable young people.
Qualifications
High level skills in mental health assessment, treatment and care coordination for young people.
Well developed education, training, consultation and liaison experience.
Registered in the relevant professional discipline (R.N., O.T., S.W., C.P.).
