About the role
Arrow Transport Repairs is seeking an experienced or inexperienced Parts purchasing/Estimator to join our team in Larapinta, Queensland on a full-time basis. As our Estimator, you will estimate damage to heavy vehicle and coordinate parts purchasing required to facilitate repairs .
What you'll be doing
* Conducting thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair requirements and costs
* Preparing detailed and accurate repair estimates in line with industry standards
* Communicating repair estimates to customers, explaining any necessary repairs and costs
* Collaborating with the workshop team to ensure efficient repairs
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of parts, labour rates, and industry regulations
* Providing customer service and managing customer expectations throughout the repair process
What we're looking for
experience as an Automotive Parts purchase/Estimator and or interest to learn
understanding and interest in vehicle construction,
communication and customer service skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Commitment to safety and quality standards
