Design and implement fraud detection strategies to minimise risk and improve prevention outcomes 12-month secondment opportunity Brisbane About the role The Fraud Analytics Lead (Fraud Control Architect) is responsible for supporting Fraud & Intelligence and the wider Insurance function to ensure it meets its fraud control accountabilities in accordance with the Group Financial Crimes Policy and Divisional Fraud Control Plan. This role is responsible for ensuring our strategic intelligence aligns with our mitigation strategies (fraud control platform) of both identified and emerging fraud threats. What you'll do Lead and support fraud analytics projects, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery Monitor and optimise fraud detection systems, models, and processes Design, implement, and enhance automated fraud controls to improve detection accuracy and efficiency Drive continuous improvement of fraud strategies, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate and strengthen fraud prevention measures Provide regular updates on fraud risk, control strategies, and key exposures to senior management Support training and awareness initiatives to uplift organisational fraud prevention capability What you'll bring 5 years’ experience in insurance/financial services and fraud management Qualifications in Data Science, Analytics, Legal, or Risk (required) Proven experience developing and implementing fraud controls Proficient with reporting tools and query languages Claims environment experience is highly desirable Good understanding of Australian financial services regulations and legislation PD - Fraud Control Architect V2.docx If you require any support and adjustments to participate equitably in our recruitment process or in the workplace, we encourage you to contact phillip.jarratt@suncorp.com.au for a confidential conversation.
