Rehabilitation Consultant
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled and motivated Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team.
* We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in occupational rehabilitation, who can work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied health practitioners to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a close-knit team.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing return-to-work plans, and providing ongoing support to employees and employers.
* They will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new services and initiatives, and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct functional capacity evaluations and worksite assessments to identify barriers to return to work
* Develop and implement return-to-work plans in consultation with employers, employees, and other stakeholders
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees and employers to facilitate successful return to work
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in physiotherapy, osteopathy or exercise physiology
* Full professional registration with AHPRA or full accreditation with ESSA
* Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation industry
* Fabulous communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
