The Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) was established in 2007 and is the largest vet‐owned and vet‐led group of emergency and referral hospitals across Australia. SASH Sunshine Coast is a purpose‐built modern facility providing state‐of‐the‐art clinical space for our team to deliver exceptional patient care. Our team is fully equipped with cutting‐edge technology including endoscopy, ultrasound, digital X‐ray, Shimadzu C‐arm fluoroscopy, a 16‐slice GE CT scanner, arthroscopy, laparoscopic/thoracoscopic equipment, and a comprehensive range of surgical implants.
The Surgery Specialist Position
SASH Sunshine Coast is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Surgeon. You will work alongside Dr. Nima Nakahara, Dr. Kylee Goggin and Dr. Warrick Bruce in surgery, while being supported by a large team of other specialist vets. The team is collaborative and you will have the opportunity to draw on the knowledge and experience of all the SASH specialists across our network.
To be considered, you must:
* Value a hospital culture of inclusivity, empathy, and teamwork.
* Be a board‐qualified specialist in Surgery, being either a Fellow (ANZCVS) or Diplomate (ACVS, ECVS).
* Have completed an approved residency training program in small animal surgery and be eligible to sit a certification examination.
