About the Role
The Senior Business Analyst (SBA) is responsible for enabling high quality solutions that deliver valued business outcomes and customer satisfaction.
The role focuses on helping guide our business and end users in improving processes, products, services and software through data driven analysis and decisions.
This position requires an enquiring mind, experience in how SBA's operate and function, and a willingness to learn and question with confidence and care.
Key responsibilities:
 * Owns and manages the end-to-end business requirements lifecycle including elicitation, workshops, decomposition using story maps, documentation, and validation up until the solution delivery
 * Works closely with business stakeholders, SMEs and project teams to ensure requirements are refined and ready
 * Analyse data and processes to drive viable solutions that enhances our member experience
 * Actively participates in estimations, prioritisation, sprint planning, retrospectives, review sessions and various other applicable ceremonies
 * Proactively communicates, collaborates, leads and participates in various stakeholder workshops and engagements like requirements gathering, validation and showcases
 * Produces Business Analysis artefacts like process maps, gap analysis, business solutions specifications
 * Knowledge and ability to confirm and defend the scope of testing required based on the requirements
 * Supports the business through execution of business acceptance/ user acceptance test cases
 * Provides assistance to the Business Analysts Manager in their remit of expanding business analysis concepts and practices including templates, processes, tools and techniques, and involvement in promoting the Business Analysis Practice throughout TMBL
 * Supports delivery practices and leads measurable continuous improvement
About You
 * Strong experience working on projects or business change initiatives or in process and/or procedural documentation using BA practices, tools and techniques
 * Proven exposure to projects through one or more methodologies e.g. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, Rapid, Lean, PMBOK, PRINCE2 – essential, with experience in Agile (Scrum)
 * Proven understanding of the retail banking industry and experience working with third party vendors - highly regarded
 * Demonstrated experience delivering business analysis in large-scale transformation programs, preferably in financial services or mutual banking environments.
Skills and Qualifications:
 * Proven ability to plan and facilitate discovery and co-design engagement activities (workshops, interviews etc.)
 * Proven ability process modelling, journey mapping, user stories and managing requirements within a Product Backlog
 * Proven knowledge of the core toolset (Jira, MS Office)
 * Deep understanding of program governance frameworks and ability to contribute to the success of strategic initiatives
 * Analytical thinking – an enquiring mind with the ability and confidence to ask probing and challenging questions
 * Advanced analytical and data modelling skills to provide insights that drive program outcomes.
 * Continuous improvement mindset – always thinking of ways to improve systems and processes and thinking outside the box
 * Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills – ability to work and engage with all levels across the organization and form solid relationships
 * Organised and self-managed – ability to plan and complete tasks, estimate effort and duration for project deliverables
