You’ll be the visible leader on the floor, setting the tone for the guest experience, building team culture, and helping establish a venue that quickly becomes a local favourite. The Role As Restaurant Manager, you’ll take full ownership of front-of-house operations and lead a tight, engaged FOH and bar team through launch and beyond. You’ll work closely with ownership and senior leadership to shape the service style, recruitment approach, team standards, and overall rhythm of the venue. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and inspire the FOH and bar team across day-to-day service Set and maintain high standards around service, presentation, energy, and guest care Oversee rosters, floor plans, reservations, walk-ins, and service flow Recruit, onboard, train, and retain a high-performing team Drive team culture, accountability, and consistency from the floor Manage guest feedback and recovery with confidence and professionalism Support ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships across FOH and beverage Work closely with kitchen leadership on pacing, specials, communication, and upselling Contribute to the development of the drinks offer, including wine service standards Assist with events, group bookings, and local area trade-building opportunities About You You’re a hands-on hospitality leader who knows how to balance warmth, pace, and standards. You’re confident running busy services, coaching a team in real time, and creating an environment where both staff and guests want to come back.
