About The Role
The cook supports the delivery of an efficient and effective catering service to the patients and facilities within the Health Service.
This role involves meal prep, stock ordering, menu planning and monitoring dietary needs. You'll also assist with and adhere to all kitchen auditing and compliance requirements.
There are various positions available both Part Time and Casual vacancies.
Previous experience cooking is a hospitality setting would be preferred. Ability and willingness to work shifts, on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays is required.
Trundle is located in a quiet but contemporary town, home of the ABBA festival, you will enjoy the serenity of the central west with major regional towns such as Parkes only 53km away and 140km to Dubbo should the need arise.
Trundle MPS is a part of Western NSW LHD, the hospital has 9 residential aged care beds, 2 Emergency department beds and 2 Acute care beds. Trundle MPS has a co-located medical centre and a GP-VMO on call and the utilisation of Virtual Medical services and Critical Care Advisory Team 24/7 via VC. Trundle MPS has pathology services, community health and allied health services.
