Senior Library Technician
Large multi-campus Christian school
Part-time (3 days/fortnight during terms) position

Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with 1,900 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south‑eastern outskirts of Melbourne.
Our mission is to provide excellence in Christ‑centred education in partnership with families within a caring Christian community. In doing this, we aim to prepare students thoroughly for further study, careers, service and life in general.
We are currently seeking the services of a Senior Library Technician to be available to commence at our Drouin campus in January next year. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian setting and provide important assistance to the students and teaching staff in delivering high quality care and Christian education to students.
Some key responsibilities will include the following:
- Providing a godly example to students and fellow staff members through their practice, manner, relationships and general lifestyle
- Overseeing whole‑school management of Oliver library software
- Supporting the Head of Library and each Library Coordinator
- Maintaining a welcoming and tidy library environment
- Supervising students during recess, private study and assessments
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Demonstrated commitment to the school’s Statement of Faith
- Qualifications and/or experience as a Library Technician (essential)
- Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Good computer literacy skills
