The role involves providing individual, couples, and family counselling to those grieving a loss due to suicide, with a focus on vulnerable populations, especially children and young people. Facilitating support groups for individuals affected by suicide may also be required, which may involve evening work.
We are seeking a qualified professional with a tertiary qualification in social work or psychology and relevant experience in counselling and group work related to bereavement, trauma, and suicide. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach.
