Responsibilities
* Design build and maintain scalable high-performance applications and services using the latest versions of C# Core.
* Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK). You will also be responsible for creating reusable Terraform 2 templates to wrap and deploy C# services.
* Build solutions leveraging a range of AWS services including AWS Lambda, MSK Connect, Apache Flink, Amazon Neptune and Amazon Athena.
* Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle from initial design and development through to testing and deployment.
* Quickly dive into and understand the existing application and codebase making impactful contributions from day one.
* Proactively identify and implement improvements to our platform architecture, development processes and overall performance with a customer‑centric mindset.
What you will need to succeed
* Expertise in C# .NET Core (…)
* Strong experience developing web applications.
* Demonstrable experience of infrastructure templating with CloudFormation and / or Terraform.
* Experience implementing OOP principles and design patterns with C#.
* Experience designing, developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
* Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, TeamCity).
* Strong working knowledge of at least one database technology; Aurora RDS, Postgres, SQL Server, DocumentDB.
* Practical experience building solutions with services like AWS Lambda, MSK Connect, Apache Flink, Amazon Neptune and Amazon Athena.
* Self‑starter and independent contributor who can take high‑level requirements, architect a solution and execute on it with minimal supervision.
* Ability to rapidly assimilate complex technical information, understand unfamiliar codebases and become productive in a short timeframe.
* History of successfully delivering complex software projects from the development phase all the way to a production environment.
* Ability to learn quickly new AWS services and how they fit in the existing architecture.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to think critically.

* Solid understanding of core networking principles and protocols.
* Exposure to AWS data and streaming services such as Amazon Athena, AWS Glue, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon EMR, Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose or zero‑ETL solutions.
* Proficiency in additional scripting languages like PowerShell, Shell scripting (Bash), Ansible or Kotlin.
* Experience and familiarity working within both Windows and Linux environments.
* Hands‑on experience with modern monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus or similar platforms.
* Knowledge of database schema migration and version control tools such as Liquibase or Flyway.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
