Job Title:
Personal Assistant to the Head of Primary
This role requires a highly competent, professional and solutions-focused Personal Assistant to support the Head of Primary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Calendar and diary management for the Head of Primary
* Coordinate correspondence, including risk assessments and tours
* Reporting and timetabling support
* Organise and book interviews
* Manage administration for purchases, credit card and budget queries
* Oversee Celebration Night administration
* Facilitate administration for Primary events (e.g. ANZAC Day)
* Act as first point of contact for staff and parents seeking to connect with the Head of Primary
* Manage maintenance requests
* Build strong, professional relationships with staff across the college
* Undertake ad hoc duties as directed by the Head of Primary and the PA to the Principal
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a PA or similar high-level administrative role
* A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and act decisively
* Strong emotional resilience – able to stay professional, composed and objective
* Excellent administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Advanced communication skills – clear, professional and confident (written and verbal)
* Strong time management with the ability to prioritise competing demands effectively
* Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
* A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
* Current Working with Children Check
