Are you ready to drive the future of automotive servicing? Bridgestone Australia is seeking an experienced Automotive Category Manager to lead the development, deployment, and ongoing management of our automotive and mechanical servicing offering across our retail store network.
This pivotal role will ensure seamless alignment with our Lube Mobile Auto Service business and deliver on our Retail Strategy's key objectives—growth, operational excellence, customer experience, and sustainability.
As the Automotive Category Manager, you'll be the central coordination point for all retail initiatives requiring automotive servicing expertise. From e‑commerce enablement and workshop digitisation to customer experience and relationship management, you'll ensure our offering remains competitive, scalable, and customer‑centric.
In this role, you will:
Define and evolve our automotive servicing portfolio, research emerging trends (EV readiness, ADAS, OEM partnerships), and lead rollout of new services.
Partner with IT, marketing, operations, and Lube Mobile to deliver seamless projects and training programs across the network.
Build strategic supplier relationships, negotiate favourable terms, and support centralised procurement initiatives.
Set pricing models, track category performance, and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting.
Champion customer‑centric service design, integrate feedback loops, and explore new technologies such as IoT, subscription models, and contactless services.
Lead with Bridgestone's vision for 'Perfect Safety' and E8 Commitment, embedding sustainability and safe practices across all initiatives.
About You
Possess comprehensive automotive industry knowledge with experience in product or service development.
Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
Be self‑motivated, innovative, and confident working across functions and with external partners.
Have a strong interest in emerging trends such as EV readiness, ADAS, and digitalisation.
