What you'll be doing
As Nurse Unit Manager Level 3, you will coordinate service delivery and patient flow while leading nursing teams to provide safe, effective and high-quality Drug Health care, with flexibility to work across Drug Health Services as needed.

• Lead and coordinate patient care and service delivery across Drug Health units
• Ensure nursing practice meets contemporary and evidence-based standards
• Manage staffing, budgets and resources to deliver efficient care
• Drive quality improvement and safe therapeutic environments
• Support governance, reporting and strategic service planning

Essential Criteria

* Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Selection Criteria

* Demonstrated senior nursing management experience within Drug & Alcohol services, including operational leadership, staff supervision, rostering, performance management, and coordination of inpatient and/or community-based AOD programs
* Proven experience managing human, physical, and financial resources within Drug & Alcohol services to ensure safe, effective, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care, including accountability for budget management and service efficiency
* Demonstrated experience leading and engaging multidisciplinary teams within Drug & Alcohol services, including medical, nursing, allied health, and non-clinical staff, to coordinate complex care pathways and improve patient flow and service access
* Demonstrated capability in managing workforce performance, industrial matters, and conflict resolution within a Drug & Alcohol service, while fostering staff wellbeing, professional development, and a positive safety-focused culture.
* Demonstrated experience in governance, risk management, work health and safety, and continuous quality improvement within Drug & Alcohol services, including accreditation processes, incident management, and implementation of service improvement initiatives
* Able to work across Drug Health services as required
* Current NSW Driver's license (desirable).
