The Role
We're seeking an Electrical Technical Writer to develop and update maintenance documentation, work instructions and procedures. This is not a generic writing role. You'll need to understand electrical work and be able to translate that into clear, practical documentation that site teams can follow. You could be a strong technical writer with electrical experience, or an experienced electrician who is confident putting documentation together.
What You'll Be Doing
* Developing and updating electrical work instructions and procedures
* Reviewing existing documentation and improving clarity and usability
* Working with site teams to capture accurate technical information
* Translating electrical tasks into structured, easy to follow documents
* Supporting consistency across documentation standards
What You'll Bring
* Electrical background is essential
* Experience in technical writing or documentation highly regarded
* Ability to translate technical work into clear instructions
* Strong attention to detail and structure
* Experience working in maintenance or operational environments
* Must have the right to work in Australia
