We are currently seeking a full-time Fire Detection Technician to join our Cairns team.
About the Role
This role will see you carrying out the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire detection and alarm systems, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards while delivering a high level of service to our clients.
What We're Looking For
* Electrical Fitter Mechanics with a desire to invest in the Fire Protection Service industry and willing to learn new skills. or ;
* Certificate III in Fire Protection Control - Electrical
* Relevant fire industry experience and QBCC fire occupational licence
* Some knowledge of fixed Fire Detection, Alarm & Warning Systems and strong technical knowledge of the relevant Australian Standards
* A positive work attitude, eye for detail and high standard of work is essential.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills along with great customer service
* Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality service outcomes.
* Sound work ethic & commitment to workplace safety
* Current Qld Manual Drivers Licence.
