Must be able to obtain Baseline security clearance.What to SubmitA tailored resume in docx formatA one page ***** character) summary response to the selection criteria below.RFQ ID: LH-*****Agency: Department of Health, Disability and AgeingClosing Date: Sunday, 18 January *********:59pm (Canberra time)Estimated Start Date: Monday, 09 February ****Extension Term: 12 monthsNumber of Extensions: 1Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain BaselineLocation of Work: QLD, ACT, NSWWorking Arrangements:Hybrid – required to work from the applicable office at least 2 days per week.A Working from Home Agreement must be formalised prior to commencement.Must adhere to annual closedown and public holidays as defined in the Enterprise Agreement.Maximum Hours: 40 hours per weekThe Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is undertaking several ICT-enabled initiatives focused on delivering business change, improving capability, and stabilising its IT environment.The Dynamics 365 Platform Architect utilises deep knowledge of organisational business needs to translate strategy and requirements into robust technical solutions.The role supports the Dynamics 365 Business Applications Program, which delivers and operationally manages a suite of D365 applications across the department.The program operates within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) using a DevOps delivery model, with six scrum teams responsible for both delivery and operational outcomes.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Platform Architect (SFIA Level 6) will undertake tasks including, but not limited to:Work with key business areas to provide guidance on functional and technical capabilities of Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 applications, related Microsoft cloud solutions and third-party technologiesProvide Microsoft D365 SME consultation, maintaining knowledge of emerging technologies and driving strategic collaboration, modernisation and productivity roadmap initiativesUnderstand IT and business priorities to design implementation architectures and solutions (Microsoft D365 and Azure) that address complex business problemsSupport business and product managers in developing and maintaining Project Plans, Schedules, Test Plans and Acceptance Criteria for D365 capabilitiesLead large and complex initiatives involving multiple departments, new or emerging technologies, high visibility and organisational riskCollaborate with IT staff, subject matter experts, business partners and senior managers to plan, design and deliver architecture servicesLead design and implementation activities, providing architectural oversight, troubleshooting and optimisation recommendations across architectural domainsEvaluate alternative solutions, assess suitability within enterprise roadmaps, and manage architectural risksWork with domain architects to deliver integrated solutions through shared services and integration viewsAlign solution designs with the ICT Strategy ********* and participate in architecture governance forumsMaintain architectural artefacts including SADs, DTTs, security approvals and governance papersProvide leadership and direction to Solution Architects to ensure consistent design patterns across the branchLead discussions with business and technology stakeholders to develop and communicate technical visionEnsure effective transfer of skills and knowledge to departmental staffTechnical SkillsBachelors Degree preferred; advanced technology-focused degree desirableMinimum 10 years experience working across IT environments in application design or developmentSelection CriteriaThe buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified.
