Senior Tax Accountant Opportunity
This is a senior tax accountant role that involves preparing financial statements and tax returns for various entities.
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Fremantle. This full-time role requires someone with strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulations.
* Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other documentation for clients.
* Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients regarding assessments, audits, lodgements, and other tax matters.
* Providing accurate and timely bookkeeping support, including bank reconciliations, ledger maintenance, and payroll services.
* Advising clients on the tax implications of business transactions and investment decisions.
* Conducting in-depth tax planning and optimisation to minimise tax liabilities for clients.
* Conducting tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
* At least 3 years of experience as a tax accountant in a public accounting firm or tax advisory practice.
* Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulations.
