Overview
Sedgman is seeking a skilled Senior Structural Designer with hands-on experience on projects ranging from conceptual design to detailed engineering. This position reports directly to the Principal and involves working on a diverse array of projects across the Mineral Processing industry. You'll be involved in the entire design process, from concept to detailed design.

Key Responsibilities
* Ability to take an engineering concept and convert it into a 3D design.
* Check drafting deliverables for accuracy, completeness and adherence to design specifications and intent.
* Apply attention and diligence to uphold quality standards and client requirements to complete tasks efficiently.
* Create 3D designs from complex, multidiscipline engineering concepts.
About You
* 7+ years of industry experience in mining, minerals processing, or heavy industries.
* A strong understanding of relevant Australian standards.
* Experience with projects from conceptual design through to detailed engineering.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or occasional MicroStation 2D.
* Proficiency in Autodesk 3D modelling programs, such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Advanced Steel, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Vault and Plant3D.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Interest in expanding into SMP design.
* Willingness to adapt to a changing role.
* Pointcloud scanning skills are a perk but not required.
* Proven skills in Advanced Steel, Concrete design and detailing.
