**Key Fundraising Events and Partnerships Role**
This role is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating key fundraising events and initiatives. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, including community organisations, potential collaborators, government departments, and funding bodies.
The primary focus is on enhancing community engagement through strategic partnerships and grant coordination. This involves conceptualising, implementing, and evaluating successful events and community programs to align with organisational goals.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, event management, or similar fields. They should also possess experience leading successful events or community initiatives, with a strong understanding of contemporary engagement methods and trends.
The role requires high-level computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing applications. The ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally, is essential.
Fundraising Calendar and Event Management
1. Manage end-to-end event planning, from conceptualisation to execution, ensuring alignment with the organisational brand, marketing, and communications strategy.
2. Develop and deliver annual fundraising calendars for Newcastle Anglican and its agencies, working collaboratively with subject matter experts and key stakeholders.
Stakeholder Relationships and Community Engagement
1. Build new and strengthen existing stakeholder relationships with potential collaborators and partners to enhance community engagement.
2. Contribute social media content to inform, engage, and inspire, broadening community understanding and delivering key brand messages.
About You
1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, event management, or similar fields.
2. Demonstrated experience leading successful events or community initiatives.
3. Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate community engagement programs.
4. Understanding of contemporary engagement methods and trends.
