Position: Fitter Machinist (2 Full-Time Roles)
Location: Bethania, Queensland

Due to continued growth, LaserBond is seeking two skilled and motivated Fitter Machinists to join our team at our Queensland premises in Bethania.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate conventional lathes with proficiency.
* Utilise technical and mechanical knowledge to perform machining tasks.
* Use a variety of testing and measuring instruments, including gauges, micrometers, verniers, plug gauges, and height gauges.
* Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings accurately.
* Work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Ensure all work is completed with a keen attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
* Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner / Fitter Machinist.
* Proven experience in machining operations, specifically with conventional lathes.
* Solid technical aptitude and mechanical skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to safety and quality.
