The key areas of responsibility for this role include:
- Maintain and operate Caterpilar 3516 and 3520 gas and diesel reciprocating engines
- Operate low pressure waste heat boilers and associated ancillary plant and equipment
- Operate advanced instrumentation and process control systems
- Perform regular inspection and maintenance of above equipment to a high standard
- Monitor the process to ensure optimum output
- Carry out routine housekeeping duties
- Utilise the Maintenance Management and Quality Assurance Systems as part of the daily functions
- Actively ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of others through understanding and implementing workplace health and safety obligations
- Any other duties appropriate to the level and responsibility of the position as required.
Qualifications and experience:
- Electrical trade qualifications
- Experience in operating and maintaining large reciprocating engines
- Current drivers license
- First Aid Certificate (desirable)
You will be a highly motivated, self starter with excellent communication skills and work effectively in a small, collaborative team environment.
