Hudson is partnering with a leader in their industry in the search for an Information Security GRC SME to advise them on their enterprise cloud migration. You will be working closely with the project team and leaders to identify and assess potential security risks, and offer practical, actionable remediation methods.
Initial contract: 9 months
Rate: $**** per day
Location: Sydney, hybrid office environment
Responsibilities
Support the cloud team to deliver a safe, secure cloud solution for the business
Act as the information security SME, providing risk based advice, and providing options that could be used to remediate identified risks
Assess the effectiveness of current security controls within the environment, and its third party suppliers
Support the team in upskilling their knowledge around cyber security/cloud security GRC best practices
Support the organisation in order to achieve and maintain compliance with the necessary financial services regulators and organisational standards
Requirements
8+ years in IT with 5+ years in cyber security GRC
Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices from a GRC perspective
The ability to give pointed advice on remediation options for identified risk to technical teams
Ability to conduct architecture reviews from a security perspective
Ability to align security controls with compliance requirements

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
