EPIC is looking for a friendly and reliable Casual Barista to join our café and catering team in Kalgoorlie.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in good customer service, and is happy to support a busy café environment with coffee making, food preparation, cleaning, cash handling and general café duties.

The Role
As a Barista, you'll help deliver a positive café and catering experience by preparing drinks and basic food items, serving customers, keeping the café clean and organised, and supporting safe food handling practices.
This is a casual position based in Kalgoorlie, with hours that may vary depending on café and catering needs. Availability for early starts and weekend work will be required.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Preparing and serving coffee, beverages and basic menu items
* Providing friendly and professional customer service
* Taking orders and processing cash/EFTPOS payments accurately
* Supporting catering activities when required
* Completing café setup, pack‐down and daily cleaning tasks
* Following food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures
* Reporting any hazards, incidents, equipment issues or concerns to the Program Coordinator
* Working positively with the café and catering team
What You Bring
* You're reliable, friendly and willing to learn. You enjoy working as part of a team and understand the importance of good customer service, cleanliness and safety in a café environment.
* Willingness to learn new tasks and follow directions
* Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
* Basic numeracy skills to handle cash and EFTPOS transactions
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Reliable transport
* Availability for early starts and weekend work
* Current National Police Clearance issued within the last 3 months, or willingness to obtain one
* Food safety certificate
* Interest in developing barista skills or progressing within hospitality
