**The opportunity**
As an Industrial Designer, the focus of your role is the design and delivery of project-based new louvre window products, in addition to improvements of existing products. Adaptability to multiple product ranges is key to success in this role.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Expedite the resolution of new products through to production
- Work within the design team to maintain and develop products
- Deliver manufacturing drawings to our suppliers and in house manufacturing facilities
- Build relationships of communication and trust with team members and stakeholders
- Research sources for developing products and information to deliver innovative solutions
- Assist our sales team through specifications by supplying technical knowledge
- Utilise resources to efficiently meet expected work output for Breezway stakeholders
**Skills and experience**
**Essential to be successful**:
- Degree qualified in Industrial Design/Product Engineering
- Experience in a fabrication and manufacturing environment
- Solidworks and related design software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-developed time and priority management skills
- Appreciation of Standards and Building Codes
- Positive focus towards the position, product and potential markets
**Desirable for success**:
- Experience in the residential or commercial window industry
- Adaptability to new technologies, and new resources
- Autocad and Adobe software suite experience
- Aluminium extrusion design experience
