The Psychology Hub
The Psychology Hub is a well-established private psychology and allied-health practice based in North Lakes, operating since 2014. We are known for our warm, human approach, strong referral base, and supportive but autonomous working environment.
Our team currently consists of approximately 11–15 experienced clinicians. While we have historically engaged psychologists as independent contractors, we are now also offering employee roles in response to changing market conditions and a growing preference for stability among clinicians.
We are open to engaging psychologists either as employees (0.8 FTE) or contractors (0.4 FTE or above), depending on experience, preferences, and overall fit with the practice.
The RoleEmployee Position (Preferred)
* 0.8 FTE (4 days per week)
* Tuesday to Friday
* Work one of the following 8-hour blocks on each working day:
* 8:00am–4:00pm, or
* 12:00pm–8:00pm
* Clinicians may choose a combination of these hours across the week (for example, some earlier days and some later days), with hours agreed in advance
* No Saturdays
Contractor Option
* Flexible days and hours
* Session load and schedule negotiated on a case-by-case basis
Workload Expectations
* Minimum of 6 clients per day
* Balanced, sustainable caseload
* Full administrative and practice support provided
Salary (Employee – Pro-Rata, QLD Market Aligned)
All figures below are for the 0.8 FTE (4-day) role and include superannuation:
* General Psychologist: $80,000 – $108,000 package incl. super
* Clinical Psychologist: $112,000 – $128,000 package incl. super
(These figures reflect the pro-rata equivalent of standard full-time market rates.)
Professional Development & Benefits
