We currently have an opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager. Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in supporting the Downer Defence Contract for the delivery of Estate Maintenance and Operations Services (EMOS) to the Department of Defence across the Southern New South Wales (SNSW) region. Reporting to the EMOS Operations Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
1. Lead the effective delivery of all maintenance and minor capital works in accordance with the contract scope.
2. Manage a team comprising Works Managers, maintenance technicians, and specialist subcontractors to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.
3. Plan, coordinate, and execute Performance-Based, Scheduled, and Responsive Maintenance activities across Shoalhaven base service area sites.
4. Facilitate the effective deployment of shared trade resources across multiple locations to meet planned maintenance requirements.
5. Operate in a complex and sensitive Defence environment, demonstrating strong leadership, organisational capability, and adaptability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
What You'll Bring
1. Experience in Business Management, Administration, or relevant qualifications or experience.
2. Technical expertise or trade qualifications in building, electrical, or mechanical disciplines are desirable.
3. Experience in Facility Management, Maintenance Engineering/Planning, Environmental & Heritage management, and Project Management.
4. High computer literacy, including experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, Microsoft Office, and company-specific databases and online systems.
5. Business management experience, including finance, admin, and Quality Assurance.
6. Ability to obtain or hold a Defence security clearance.
