We are seeking an Accounts Officer to support the Finance team with accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and administrative functions at insignia Pty Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
Process daily AR transactions such as posting of receipts, reconciling accounts, follow up debts and processing new account application
Liaise with internal / external clients regarding account queries
Maintain and process supplier invoices, credits, and adjustments
Maintain and control Vendor database to ensure accuracy and correct payment terms
Control the release of payments to local and overseas suppliers
Maintain and control the processing of staff expense reimbursements, credit card transactions and vehicle operating costs
About You
Understanding and application of basic principles and techniques of accounting
Recently completed tertiary studies in Accounting (highly regarded)
2 years experience in a customer service role
Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, handle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and manage activities through to completion
Ability to work in a team and individually
