**What success looks like in this role**:
Manager - ITO, UMP has deep experience in IT Operations Service Delivery:
- Delivers contracted IT services to SLAs in alignment with ITIL framework and ISO 27001 ISMS
- Responsibility and accountability for IT incident management, driving down the incidence of SLA breaches and incidents with financial impact, and fostering a frank and fearless incident management response, review, and reporting discipline.
- Ensures that product defects, deficiencies, and opportunities for improvements are captured and directed to A&D or appropriate stakeholders to help foster a continuous improvement and innovation culture
- Manages (plans, monitors, operates, and reports the performance of) the operation of the overall infrastructure hardware and network components including Nutanix, hypervisors (Hyper-V), Active Directory, Exchange, Windows and Linux (RHEL) servers, SQL servers, Progress OpenEdge 4GL services, monitoring and alerting systems including Solarwinds, Seq, and OpsGenie, Pega stack infrastructure (including Pega, Mulesoft, InfoImage)
- Manages key systems involved in UMP service delivery, including Jira, Confluence, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, Jenkins, and Octopus Deploy
- Manages the Service Desk (Incidents and Service Requests, Level 1 Support for Applications, Level 1, 2 and 3 support for Infrastructure and operational support services, monthly reporting)
- Directs and manages the facilities provided by third parties and Unisys for UMP Rhodes and St Leonards data centres.
- Manages and interfaces with third party service providers including cloud-based services (Okta, Mulesoft Anypoint Management service Pega Predictive Diagnostic Cloud services, Nice InContact/Mediavault)
- Manage the production and non-production environments to meet UMP service delivery project and BAU (SLA) objectives
- Reviews/provides estimates for BAU change projects and SRs for operations related activities and tools
- Reviews, accepts, and operationalises project deliverables into production once they are verified to meet operations and support requirements.
**You will be successful in this role if you have**:
- ** Science or Engineering Graduate** Degree, preferably a Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or relevant experience
- 15+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5+ years in IT management and leadership as a business/technology consultant to senior business leadership
- Certifications in delivery leadership preferred, e.g., ITIL, ISO27001 etc.
