Our company is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotes and tenders across a range of projects.
You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and our project management team to ensure all estimates are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
* Completing material take-offs and sourcing competitive supplier pricing.
* Preparing tenders, proposals, and client quotations.
* Liaising with builders, clients, and contractors to clarify project requirements.
* Supporting the project team through handover and project commencement.
* Maintaining and updating estimating tools, templates, and cost databases.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
* Trade qualification or A-Grade Electrical License (preferred but not essential).
* Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and practices.
* Proficiency with estimating software such as SimPRO and Groundplan.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
