VSON Laser Vision Specialists are the leading provider of freedom from glasses and contact lenses in Queensland. We have two casual roles available for Enrolled Nurses.

The role is primarily outside of normal business hours and would suit those not wanting a 9 to 5 role.
Purpose of Role
To assist before, after and during procedures for people wanting the benefits of life-changing eye surgery and then guide them through their clinical journey to have it. The two primary goals of the role are to allow our patients to feel as at ease as possible whilst delivering exceptional patient care.
Main Duties
* Setting up and guiding patients through pre-op (full training provided)
* Assisting during Laser Vision Correction procedures (full training provided)
* CSSD (full training provided)
* Some shifts may be on our front desk (full training provided)
* Assisting the clinical staff (full training provided) on surgery days
* Delivering excellent patient care
* Establishing rapport and building relationships with patients to make them comfortable and confident whilst at VSON.
Skills and Qualifications
* Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent)
* You love learning. It's incredibly important to you to keep upping your game every year.
* The ability to go with the flow – you do not get stressed out easily. Training
Training will be provided in:
1. Clinical systems
2. Product knowledge
3. Performing some clinical functions
Salary, Hours & Role Snapshot
* Salary: We offer excellent compensation for excellent people: rate $45-55/hr
Hours: your shifts will be primarily Fridays from mid-afternoon into the evening, one or two Wednesdays per month (again from mid afternoon into the evening) and occasional Saturdays.
