PGSR Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Payroll Officer to join our on-site team in Morisset, NSW. The Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll, ensuring compliance with payroll taxes, and supporting financial record-keeping.
Daily tasks include processing payroll for employees, maintaining accurate payroll records, and resolving payroll-related inquiries while collaborating with the finance team to ensure the timely and accurate disbursement of salaries.
What you will do:
* Process end‐to‐end weekly payroll, including onboarding of new employees, termination calculations, and the management of leave entitlements.
* Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, awards, and internal company policies.
* Reconcile and process monthly superannuation contributions and weekly PAYG payments.
* Prepare weekly payroll journals and complete timely bank reconciliations.
* Support month-end activities and reconciliations
* Assist with accounts payable and receivable as required
About You:
* Minimum 3 years' experience working in a high-volume payroll position.
* Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards, and compliance requirements.
* Experience with MYOB.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a broader finance team.
