About the Role
Guest Service Agents play a key part in welcoming guests, processing check-ins and outs, managing switchboards, assisting with queries and requests, and providing an outstanding guest experience.
Critical Responsibilities
* Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations assigning room and issuing and activating room keys.
* Process various payment types including room charges cash checks debit or credit cards.
* Answer record and process all guest calls messages requests questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
* Coordinate closely with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in ensuring seamless transitions.
* Communicate parking procedures clearly to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed.
* Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities and local areas of interest enhancing their stay.
* Run daily reports identify any special requests and verify reports for accuracy maintaining high standards.
* Complete designated cashier and closing reports accurately in the computer system.
