A fantastic opportunity exists for a highly motivated and committed person to lead and manage the IT Department at the City of Kwinana. This position will be required to develop and drive strategies, programs and projects to support the organisation’s requirement.
In addition, this position will focus on implementing the strategy, which may include transitioning to a shared service or outsource model.

What You’ll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
* Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline.
* Experience in the development of IT strategic plans, including implementing AS27001, and cyber security education programs.
* Well-developed experience of leadership, coaching, mentoring and managing people at various levels to work in a team environment.
* High level negotiation, influencing and communication skills, including demonstrated written and communication skills.
* Demonstrated experience of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships both internally and externally.
* Ability to strategically align technology with business needs and develop cost effective solutions.
* (Desirable) Certification in VMware VCP-DCV, Microsoft MCSA+ and SonicWALL CSSP.
