The Chance
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Intermediate Chartered Accountant to join their close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in public practice accounting who is looking to take the next step in their career with a supportive and reputable firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, trusts and SMSFs
- Complete BAS, IAS, PAYG, FBT, CGT, and other statutory lodgements
- Liaise with the ATO and other statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- Assist Partners in managing a portfolio of clients
- Offer training and support to junior team members
- Participate in team training, meetings, and social events
- Ensure client work is delivered with accuracy and on time
About You
- 2+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar. Studying towards this will also be considered
- CA qualification (completed or in progress)
- Proficient in Accounting Standards, Tax Law, Financial Reporting, Analyzing financial and non financial data for trends. Auditing will be an advantage but not a requirement. Good Software skills (Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks) advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, must be a team player, willing to assist if someone is behind.
