Job Description:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the analysis and documentation of business and technical requirements to support Finance and Procurement processes in an ERP transformation.
You will collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams throughout the full project lifecycle, including testing, data migration, and change management, to ensure successful delivery and adoption.
The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of combined Finance Manager and Business Analyst experience, specialising in ERP implementation projects focused on Finance and Procurement functions.
They should have deep expertise in Finance processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Forecasting, as well as Procurement processes including Procure-to-Pay, vendor management, and sourcing.
A proven track record of working with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable systems is essential.
The role requires strong communication, facilitation, and documentation capabilities, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Agile, Lean, and Waterfall project methodologies.
* Leading the gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation of both business and technical requirements within Finance and Procurement domains.
* Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to map and define current and future state processes.
* Translating business needs into detailed, actionable functional requirements, including user stories and solution designs.
* Facilitating workshops, interviews, and collaborative sessions with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
* Working closely with systems integrators and software vendors to ensure alignment between business requirements and system capabilities.
* Supporting the entire project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through implementation and post-deployment support.
* Assisting in developing test scenarios, planning and executing tests, and managing defect resolution alongside testing teams.
* Contributing to change impact analysis and assisting with stakeholder communication and training activities.
* Maintaining a disciplined approach to ensure full traceability of requirements throughout design, build, testing, and deployment phases.
* Applying expertise in business process improvement, continuous improvement, and digital finance methodologies.
* Supporting key data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution in partnership with technical teams and business stakeholders.
* Contribution to wider project deliverables such as data transformation, change management, training development, and knowledge transfer to business-as-usual teams.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with Agile, Lean, and Waterfall project methodologies.
* Hands-on experience supporting data migration efforts, including legacy system integration, data cleansing, and validation.
* Proficient in data analysis, summarising insights, drawing conclusions, and presenting findings clearly.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and diverse stakeholder needs in fast-paced environments.
* Experienced in facilitating Agile ceremonies and retrospectives.
* Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence and a positive, results-driven mindset.
