Leadership Opportunity
This is a permanent full-time opportunity to lead administrative personnel in a busy healthcare environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective management, leadership and direction to ensure efficient operation of the front office area and provision of high-level administrative services.
Duties:
* Manage operational aspects of the front office, reception, switchboard, consulting suites, and admissions areas including daily service requirements within these areas.
* Provide support, assistance and leadership to staff as required.
* Ensure customer standards are delivered in accordance with required standards.
* Ensure Health Fund checks and eligibility checks are done accurately and timely.
* Ensure smooth operation of outpatient consulting suites and adequate administrative support for consultant psychiatrists.
* Maintain efficient document control measures across the department.
* Ensure administrative functions support clinical functions and all requests for service are undertaken in a timely manner.

Requirements:
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
* Previous experience in a medical environment.
* Experience working with Patient Administration Software and Practice Management Software.
* Knowledge of health fund contracting system.
* Demonstrated commercial acumen.
* Excellent computer skills (MS Office package).
* Knowledge of Private Health Care System.
* Knowledge of Medicare and DVA gazettes and rule interpretation.
* Knowledge of worker's compensation billing systems.
