* Permanent / Full Time
* Salary: $99,775 - $113,318 gross p.a. plus 12% Super
* 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with the option of flexitime
* Located at Nowra Administration Building

About The Role
This role supports the delivery of business improvement initiatives and promotes a culture of continuous improvement. It involves analysing business needs, performance and solutions, gathering and interpreting data and stakeholder input, and identifying opportunities for improvement. The position also focuses on effective stakeholder management and supporting teams to apply improvement tools to implement effective solutions. This includes:

* Undertake business analysis to support business improvement by identifying business needs, evaluating business performance and documenting business processes, identifying areas for improvement and analysing solutions.
* Use data analysis to support business improvement, including gathering data from stakeholders and sector benchmarking sources, cleaning and analysing data on business performance and improvement options, and producing useable and easy-to-understand reports to inform decision-making.
* Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and plan and deliver effective stakeholder engagement, with an understanding of business risks, impacts of change and the importance of keeping stakeholders informed.

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.

About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:

* Tertiary qualifications in Business Improvement related field such as Business Management, Commerce, and Economics; and/or extensive experience implementing business improvement principles and methodologies, in business analysis and/or project delivery.
* Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate with staff effectively across all organisational levels and roles, and to foster collaboration across work groups to develop business solutions.
* Strong work ethic with the ability to work under pressure, set priorities, plan, and organise workloads and investigate and solve problems with minimal supervision and good attention to detail.
* Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical ability to deal with high volume and complex information and identify priority issues.

They excel at interpreting and communicating data, engaging with stakeholders and building strong relationships across teams. They bring curiosity and a sound understanding of contemporary local government service delivery to identify practical solutions to improve business performance.
