This individual will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reports that drive data-driven decision-making across the business. Reporting directly to Raf, the Lead Data Scientist, this role works with the business to understand what datasets are required for what reason. The goal is to become the go-to for business intelligence and decision making. The successful candidate will work with business teams to understand reporting requirements, provide clear and actionable insights, and create dashboards catering to various audiences. The effectiveness of these reports will be measured by their accuracy, adoption, and ability to address diverse stakeholder needs. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimise Tableau dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with business teams to translate reporting requirements into effective data products. Conduct thorough analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort. Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation checks and adherence to best practices. Present insights in clear, compelling formats accessible to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Support ad-hoc data requests and provide recommendations based on analysis. Desired Experience At least 3 years of experience with Tableau, including dashboard creation, data visualisation, and optimisation. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation. Experience working with relational databases and data warehousing concepts. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive meaningful insights. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, with the capability to convey technical insights to various audiences. Expectations & Metrics of Success The Data & Reporting Analyst will be expected to: Build key reports the business can access daily (self-serve) with the performance marketing team as the primary user. Address vague analytical problems such as identifying causes of regional underperformance (e.g., why conversion rates are lower in NSW). Enhance existing reports, currently comprising three continuously used by multiple stakeholders and 6-7 used by specialists, by evolving and consolidating them to improve value. Build stakeholder trust by producing accurate, effective, insightful dashboards using Tableau.
