Are you an experienced Mechanical/Structural Design Engineer ready for your next career move?
In this role, you'll take on a trusted subject-matter expert position, working across the full thickener design process, from early concepts through to commissioning.
You'll also play a key role in sharing your knowledge, providing technical leadership, and mentoring junior engineers by guiding them through design approaches, calculations, and practical problem-solving.
Your Challenge
Our client is expanding their footprint in the wet processing industry and is seeking a thickener specialist to support their next phase of growth.
Working alongside a collaborative and highly skilled engineering team, you'll be involved in the design and delivery of mineral processing projects, while also enjoying the autonomy to manage your work and make an impact.
You'll bring a genuine interest in staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, helping ensure the business remains ahead of the curve.
To succeed in this role, you'll have strong capability in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and experience using structural engineering design software such as Space Gass or similar

About You
You have strong experience designing structural equipment for the mining and mineral processing industry, or other related sectors.
You hold an Australian-recognised degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
