About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Program Coordinator (APS6) to support a national mental health service delivering critical programs to veterans and their families.
This role plays a key part in coordinating outreach providers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accessible mental health services across Australia. You will work within a collaborative clinical environment, supporting service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and continuous program improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage outreach program providers, including clinicians and facilitators
* Act as the primary liaison point, providing guidance, onboarding, and ongoing support
* Monitor provider performance against quality and safety frameworks
* Manage referrals, stakeholder relationships, and program communications
* Respond to and resolve provider or client concerns and complaints
* Support delivery of group programs, workshops, and community engagement initiatives
* Maintain accurate provider records and support operational reporting
* Contribute to evaluation, continuous improvement, and service development initiatives
About You
You are a confident and adaptable professional with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complex service environments.
You will demonstrate:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Sound judgement and problem-solving capability
* Experience coordinating programs or service delivery in a clinical or community setting
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
* High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
Essential Requirements
You must meet one of the following:
* Registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Nurse (AHPRA)
* Qualified Social Worker eligible for AASW membership
* Qualified Counsellor with ACA Level 4 registration
Additional requirements:
* Working with Children / Vulnerable People clearance
* Australian Citizenship
* Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance
