Your new role
Join our team and coordinate our volunteers and daily operations of our Op Shops. This on‐call casual role is rostered anywhere from 3 to 7.6 hours, working between the hours of 9:00 am to 5:15 pm, 7 days per week and public holidays. The role covers our Op Shops in Geelong West, Highton and Point Lonsdale.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate volunteers and daily operations across the Op Shops.
* Maintain visually appealing and contemporary shop layouts, contributing creative flair.
* Deliver positive customer experiences, high‐level visual merchandising, and critical stock and space management.
* Achieve sales targets and celebrate Uniting's culture.
* Support closing procedures, cash handling, and register operations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Passion for fashion and charity retail.
* Flair for visual merchandising.
* Experience in cash handling, register operations and closing procedures.
* Confidence in supervising a team and working independently.
* Availability to work weekends, public holidays and at short notice.
Benefits
* Base Salary of $28.12 per hour + casual loading + super, and weekend penalty rates (if applicable).
* Up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.
* 10 % discount on the childcare subsidy gap fee when using a Uniting Early Learning service or centre.
* 25 % discount at Uniting Op Shops.
