plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits – RN3 Temporary Full-Time, up to 29 May 2026 About the Role: Are you a passionate Registered Mental Health Nurse seeking to make a meaningful difference in the forensic mental health sector? The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Nurse Consultant to join our Forensic Mental Health Court Services team.
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.
This position offers you the opportunity to provide expert clinical consultation and assessment services to the court system.
You'll play a vital role in supporting individuals within the justice system who require specialised mental health intervention and care.
The main focus of this role is clinical assessment and completion of court reports, including referrals of consumers appearing in Magistrates Courts in South Australia to appropriate services, with the aim of achieving continuity, quality of patient care and outcomes.
You will assist the magistrates courts by providing advice and assistance concerning consumers who are to appear before the courts, with the aim to ensure appropriate orders and outcomes occur.
The position will be located in Modbury, however coverage of courts including in Port Adelaide, Christies Beach and Adelaide may be required as determined by the Team Leader and Head of Unit for the Forensic Court Service.
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in mental health practice.
