Job Title: Caregiver for the Elderly
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate caregiver to join our team at a boutique aged care facility. The ideal candidate will have excellent nursing skills, a strong ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and coordinate the individual needs of residents, ensuring their health and wellbeing are prioritized.
* Provide timely interventions to promote optimal health status among residents.
* Make referrals to senior staff or seek assistance as needed, particularly for complex assessments.
* Contribute to the development of individual care plans in collaboration with residents, relatives, and support staff.
* Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with legislative requirements and facility policies.
* Ensure safe practices and equipment utilization throughout the facility.
* Adhere to the Code of Ethics for Nurses and relevant regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Current AHPRA Nursing registration.
* Ability to lead a team on shift.
* Demonstrated independence and professionalism.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Current Criminal Record Check.
* Evidence of right to work in Australia.
* Genuine desire to provide high-quality care to elderly individuals.
* Knowledge of AN-ACC assessments is highly regarded.
* Effective written and oral English communication skills.
* Availability to work ongoing shifts, including Thursday mornings and Sunday nights.
Available Shifts (ongoing):
* Thursday Morning Shift 07:00am - 15:15pm.
* Sunday Night Shift 23:00pm - 07:15 am.
