Roles & Responsibilities
* Create, manage, and maintain technical documentation for industrial automation and software systems, including user manuals, installation guides, SOPs, API documentation, and release notes.
* Research, analyze, and understand software architecture, system workflows, and automation products to produce clear and accurate documentation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, Product Management, Automation Engineering) to ensure documentation aligns with product requirements and updates.
* Mentor and guide junior technical writers, delegating tasks and providing feedback to maintain documentation quality.
* Suggest improvements to documentation structure, usability, and processes to enhance clarity and accessibility.
* Ensure compliance with documentation standards, version control practices (Git/SVN), and organizational policies.
* Participate in documentation reviews, releases, and maintain updated records in line with product enhancements.
Skills
* Strong expertise in technical writing for automation and industrial software systems.
* Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-focused documentation.
* Proficient with documentation tools and familiar with Git, HTML, XML, Markdown.
* Skilled in MS Word, PowerPoint, and screen capture tools.
* Proven ability to deliver high-quality documentation in fast-paced, release-driven environments.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Self‐motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
